How to built a Mountain Lodge?" Unexpected Season Kickoff: Hubird calls and I must go At some points in life you suffer under Murphys Law and everthing that possibly could go wrong does. But sometimes everything just seems to fall into place. That's what happend with my plans for early november. I knew a befriended band from USA will play in Munic and I wanted to visit them no matter what. But also I promised to visit my friends of the Bluebird Mountain Lodges Team in the Zillertal in Austria, to help renovate their newest project "Hubird's".
So what the heck is Hubird's? Well let's say it's no big deal. Just a beautifully remote mountain hut at the end of a valley close to brenner pass in Austria. With a small local skilift that ends literally in the fronyard and a cosy "stube" with a wooodstove it will be the ultimate base camp for mountainlovers, ski tourers and powder addicts that want to escape the crazy world out there! And can you believe it - right now the weather forecast says: SNOW! Ha! So right after I survived the Killswitch show and plenty of German Weissbier I will provide you with updates right from the Hubird's! Stay tuned - and hey Canadian and American friends: Wanna come visit Europe to Ski, Board or Splitboard? Get in touch with the Bluebird Crew - they are all set to help you out with that project - it's much easier and much less expensive as you think! Please leave a feedback for me if you are happy with the way I handle the english version of my German blogposts. Cheers!
